Stories Wanted: Do you have a story that is waiting to be told?
One of this season's Civic Scratch artists Company of Others, are creating a new work and are looking for women of Yorkshire to contribute personal tales of real life endings to create the foundation of their new production (Women of Yorkshire), which will tour Yorkshire in 2017.
These tales could be anything from the end of a love affair, a career, a childhood, fertility, friendship or struggle. They want to hear of your experiences, the highs, lows and change that these endings brought about in your life. There are no specifications - ALL WOMEN OF YORKSHIRE, ALL STORIES OF ENDINGS are welcome.
Stories, sound recordings, pictures, video's, blogs, emails, can be submitted to artistic director Nadia Iftkhar and will be treated with the utmost sensitivity and confidentiality. You will have the option of remaining anonymous or being credited in their programme and website as contributor. You will also be invited to an open rehearsal and a celebratory event in December 2016 to thank you for being an important part of their work.

Company of Others will be performing an excerpt of their Women of Yorkshire (Work in Progress at our Civic Scratch Night on Thursday 28 April. An informal chance for four regional artists and companies to showcase new work and try it out in front of a live audience. Find out more here
