We are looking for Casual Front of House Assistants
We are looking for friendly, outgoing and customer focused people to join our team of Casual Front of House Assistants.
They will act as the first point of contact for all customers and visitors to the building ensuring they have a safe, enjoyable and positive experience of the venue.
Front of House Assistants will work across all styles of events, including conferences, weddings, performances and award ceremonies. The role may include stewarding, bar and box office cover; the number of shifts available will vary depending upon the operational needs/requirements of The Civic’s schedule.
Application Deadline: Monday 24th May at 4pm, interviews will be held via Zoom on Thursday 27th May.
Successful applicants invited to in person training on the evening of Monday 7th June.
Salary: National Living/ Minimum wage on a casual basis.

For the 6th consecutive year ARC and The Civic are seeking to commission the creation of a new piece of work for 3-7 year olds to be presented at the venues in spring half term 2021 (w/c 15 Feb 2021)

Whether you would like the experience of supporting your local arts centre or would simply like to meet new people – we have volunteering opportunities to suit all. Even in the post-Covid climate, we are still able to support people who want to volunteer.
Over the next few months, our volunteer roles will be supporting our Visual Art team, with the roles including invigilating our gallery spaces, welcoming visitors to our exhibitions and responding to any queries they may have.
All volunteers will receive training about the venue, our visual arts programme and appropriate PPE.
