The co-curators of North: Fashioning Identity, Lou Stoppard and Adam Murray discuss the process and findings of their investigations, artist relations and considered complications in showcasing ‘The North’.
Lou Stoppard is a writer, independent curator and SHOWstudio editor-at-large. She is a Contributing Editor at GQ and writes regularly for titles including Vogue Paris and The Financial Times.
Adam Murray is a photographer, curator and lecturer at Manchester School of Art and Central Saint Martins, whose practice and research is rooted in photography and the fashion image.
This event is part of #OurNorth, a season long programme of exhibitions, pop-up events and community action celebrating the culture and creativity of the North.
