The Spaces Between: Portraits of Recovery
Portraits of Recovery is an exhibition which launches as part of The Spaces Between, a two day showcase of street art, performance and installation created by people in Recovery.
This raw portrayal of the human condition framed against the backdrop of a re-emerging town, explores how fragility, struggle and loss can be restored by real connection and understanding of how we inhabit ‘The Spaces Between’.
A series of inspirational tales of growth and transformation, spun by people with common experiences of drug and alcohol and mental health recovery.
Creative Recovery is a movement of people who share a core mission to use creativity to bring about social change, grow community spirit and boost well-being and recovery. We put people at the heart of it!
We are driven by need and fully involve people in all aspects of what we do. We have a team of artists with board experience working across Arts and Health.
We use a person-centred approach to create safe spaces in which people can flourish. We are innovative, dynamic and committed to partnership working and collaboration.
