The Civic supporter and Barnsley born Toby Foster (Phoenix Nights, BBC Radio Sheffield) presents a great night of laughter, hosting some of the best comedians from the UK and international circuit!

Gerry K

Gerry Kyei first hit the stage in 2003 and performed his first Edinburgh show four years later. As well as performing stand-up Gerry has acted on The Bill, Angelo’s and hosted a football forum with Jeff Stelling and Rodney Marsh for Zoo Magazine.

Anecdotal, observational and refreshingly honest in style, Gerry K's comedy is enriched by a somewhat unique perspective

With his energetic and likeable personality, infectious joie de vivre and a beaming smile that warms up the coldest of nights, Gerry K is a truly feel-good act.

“Gerry was fabulous - super entertainer and a lovely guy” Proctor and Gamble

Nick Doody

Yorkshire-born Nick Doody is a British stand-up comedian. He has been performing comedy since the 90s when, as a student, he got off to a pretty good start by supporting the legendary Bill Hicks, at Bill's request.

A little later, Nick was a finalist in Channel 4's So You Think You're Funny? competition.

He features frequently as a guest on radio broadcasts such as Political Animal and vox-pop television shows, although he is known primarily as a live stand-up comic.

In 2006, Nick performed his first solo Edinburgh Festival show, Before He Kills Again. The show received rave reviews and sold out for the whole festival, leading to a run at the Soho Theatre.

Since then, Nick has written and performed another six solo hours of stand-up, including the most honest title ever to appear on a poster, Look At This Massive Picture Of My Face.

Eddy Brimson

Eddy Brimson is one of the UK circuits most in demand headline acts working regularly with all the leading promoters.

Eddy is equally at home internationally having taken to the stage from Norway to China with just about everywhere in between. He was one of the first ever comics to perform in Myanmar and invitations to perform at the Altitude Festival in the French Alps, the New Zealand International Comedy Festival and both the Melbourne and Perth Comedy Festivals in Australia have secured his place in the comedy industry.

He is also a regular at the Edinburgh Festival where he once even played a gig naked! Thankfully no cameras were allowed into the venue.
