The re-opening of the Mandela Gardens, scheduled for spring 2009, will mark the completion of the Civic’s dramatic transformation.
Mandela Gardens will offer a place for people to meet and relax in a lush green environment at the heart of town. Mandela Gardens will feature specially commissioned art, a water wall, and will become
a town centre focal point which will help to bring a brand new dimension to The Civic.
