Assembly Room

Offering a brand new performance space, the Assembly Room at The Civic is a highly flexible space that can be used to support almost any type of entertainment or event.

From contemporary dance and drama to classical music, the dynamic space can be used accommodate performances of almost every type of genre.

The Assembly Room features a sprung wooden floor and is fully equipped with its own PA and lighting system.

In addition to the performance possibilities, the Assembly Room is available for private hire from winter 2008. It is a unique environment, combining the historic elements of the Victorian building in a contemporary setting, perfect to host corporate events and awards ceremonies, as well as weddings and celebration parties.
