The following terms and conditions apply to all bookings and visits to the venue.

Sales, Refund and Exchange Policy

In line with standard industry practice there is no refund on tickets once purchased. Where a performance is sold out, tickets may be returned to Box Office for a re-sale although no guarantee can be given for a successful exchange.

Exchanging purchased tickets for other dates or productions will not normally be possible due to the short runs of most of the shows at The Civic. Under exceptional circumstances and within a reasonable timeframe, a ticket exchange may be allowed at the manager’s discretion.

Booking Conditions
A transaction fee of £1 will be added to all telephone, e-mail, postal, fax and website bookings.
Tickets booked 7 working days in advance of the event will be posted to you at no extra charge, unless other arrangements have been made. Tickets purchased less than 7 days prior to a performance can be collected from the Box Office on production of the debit/credit card used to purchase the tickets. Tickets may also be collected on the day of the performance prior to the show. Special delivery will incur an extra charge.

The management reserves the right to amend the programme or artistes without notice if necessary.

Every visitor to The Civic must be in possession of a valid ticket or have signed in at reception; this includes visitors to The Gallery@.

The management reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone in breach of any of these Terms and Conditions.

Terms and Conditions.

Discounts and special offers apply to full price tickets only and we reserve the right to introduce discounts and other price changes without notice.

Discounts and special offers cannot be redeemed against tickets already purchased.

Discounts and special offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts or offers.

Smoking policy

Smoking is not permitted anywhere in The Civic.

Data Protection

The information which we collect and store during normal use of this site is used to monitor and analyse how the site is used so that we can provide a better service to you in the future.

We will not disclose, without your explicit consent, any personal information we collect about you when you visit the site to any third parties. By submitting your personal information through this website, you shall be consenting to it being processed in the manner described.

Our site may contain links to and from the websites of our partner networks, advertisers and affiliates. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. Please check these policies before you submit any personal data to these websites.

If you wish to be removed from The Civic database please contact the Box Office and we will remove your details immediately.

Safety and Enjoyment

Mobiles phones must be switched off during performances.

Every effort will be made to admit latecomers at a suitable break in the performance but under these circumstances admission cannot always be guaranteed.

The unauthorised use of cameras or recording equipment is not permitted at any time within The Civic unless a photography permission form has been completed and signed by a member of The Civic team.  Photography Permission Form.doc

Food and drink are not allowed in The Assembly Room during certain performances, the management have the right to make this decision for each show on its own merits.

Only food and drink purchased at The Civic may be consumed there.

Commentary and other materials posted on our site are not intended to amount to advice on which reliance should be placed.
